PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a release paper capable of obtaining a pressure sensitive adhesion sheet equipped with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer and a pressure sensitive adhesion sheet roll object having a high transparency and also capable of manufacturing easily a release paper suitable of a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for both surface adhesion, and further to provide a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet and a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet roll object having excellent transparency. SOLUTION: A release paper, keeping thermoplastic resin layers AXand release layers BXpiled up one by one on one surface of a substrate material 11 of a release paper, includes convex-concave structures X of a most frequency pitch of 100-2,000μm and most frequency depth of 10-140μm on the surface of the side of pileup of the thermoplastic resin layer AXand the release layers BXand a convex part TXstructuring the convex-concave structure X has no concave part.
