<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, wherein a light source can be replaced smoothly by exposing the light source supported to a backlight chassis and securing a working space having sufficient dimensions in front of the exposed light source. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Fluorescent tubes 2 are supported in front of the backlight chassis 1, and a panel-holding frame 6 is coupled with the upper portion of the backlight chassis 1 via hinges 4 to rotate the panel-holding frame 6 upward, thereby: exposing the fluorescent tubes 2; and securing the working space having sufficient dimensions in front of the light fluorescent tubes 2 to replace the light source smoothly.
