PURPOSE: A color filter, a manufacturing method thereof, a liquid crystal display using the color filter, and an image display device are provided to form a color pixel with high heat resistance and chemical resistance. CONSTITUTION: A partition which becomes a black matrix is formed on a substrate(S102). A wet property is added to the partition(S104). Ink for an ink-jet is given with an ink-jet method. A color pixel is formed(S106). A protecting film for protecting the color pixel is formed(S108). |
