<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP capable of repairing defects without deteriorating image quality and partial loss of image even when abnormal lighting cells are caused numerously or in a high density, and even when a region display spot appears, and method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the plasma display panel equipped with a front face substrate consisting of a transparent electrode and a metal electrode of a narrower width than that of the transparent electrode, and equipped with a display electrode extending in one direction, and a backside substrate which is opposed to the front face substrate and equipped with an address electrode that is extending in a direction different from that of the display electrode and forms a plurality of cells in a crossing part with the display electrode, and in the plurality of cells, a cell is included which has a part higher in resistance of the transparent electrode than those of surroundings, and emits light of the same brightness as that of the other cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
