PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector, investigating the arrangement of furniture and the state of a turbulent flow in a room and setting the operation according to the investigation result to efficiently collect dust even when a flow of a formed dust collecting air current changes due to the arrangement of furniture in a room, or a turbulent flow is generated by the operation of an opening and closing part of a wall surface and an air conditioner and the movements of persons to change a dust collecting air current. SOLUTION: This dust collector includes: a first blowing part 14; one or more second blowing parts 30B, 30C, 30D, 30E, 30F installed in a room; and a dust collecting part. The first blowing part has a first control part and a first communicating part. The second blowing parts each have a second control part, a second information detecting part and a second communicating part. The dust collecting part has a dust collection control part, a dust collecting information detecting part and a dust collecting communicating part. The first blowing part, the second blowing parts and the dust collecting part cooperate with each other to vary the wind direction and gas quantity of each part.
