PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging sensor which utilizes the characteristics of a photoelectric conversion means.
SOLUTION: The color imaging sensor includes a plurality of photoelectric conversion sections. The plurality of photoelectric conversion sections are made of a CIGS system thin film having the quantum efficiency of 60% or greater in a visible light region and an infrared light region, respectively, and arranged regularly. Green transmission filters, red transmission filters and blue transmission filters with smaller light receiving area than the green transmission filters are arranged regularly at the plurality of photoelectric conversion sections. The color imaging sensor is configured to be tuned to visibility. Furthermore, infrared transmission filters are arranged regularly, in order to give infrared imaging capability. A visible light output is added for interpolation of an infrared image, while an infrared output is added for interpolation of a visible light image. Infrared picture elements are arranged sparsely, compared with picture elements for visible light. The green transmission filters are asymmetrically arranged in some directions, and the infrared transmission filter are arranged in the margin. When the picture element arrangement is sparse or unsymmetrical, weighting is made for a plurality of picture element outputs of identical color filter, and interpolation is performed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
