PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair set instrument and a hair set method with which hair set can be easily done by a permanent wave process and a hair dryer. SOLUTION: This hair set instrument 20 has a coil section 22 which is formed into a spiral form having pitches whose gap is just enough for a necessary number of hairs, and a core 24 which can be inserted into the coil section 22 and with which hairs can be sandwiched between the core and the coil section 22 when it is inserted into the coil section 22.
