PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide traffic information acquired during outward traveling before starting the homeward traveling on the same road as the outward traveling route. SOLUTION: A navigation device for guiding a route up to a destination includes a storage means (3) for storing the map information, traffic information and a route traveling from a departure place to a destination, a traffic information acquisition means (4b) for acquiring the traffic information generated at an opposite lane of the vehicle's traveling lane at the outward traveling time on the route together with the information generating location, and a control means (4c) that stores the acquired traffic information on the storage means and reads the traffic information acquired at the outward traveling route that is stored on the storage means to guide such information as a reference before the homeward traveling.
