<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of assembling a ball screw mechanism having a simple configuration, easily manufactured and preventing the possibility of looseness etc. of components due to vibration or the like, and a processing device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: By caulking a plurality of rivets 5A, 5A inserted to a thin plate member 4 for holding a tube 3, the thin plate member 4 is fixed to nuts 2. Thus, a tap processing etc. for small screws of the nuts 2 can be eliminated, and looseness etc. due to vibration or the like can be prevented when the ball screw mechanism is used, to improve reliability.
