<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of noise in a ratchet type one-way clutch. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this one-way clutch 10, plate parts 14c, 15c having engaging faces 14e, 15e axially opposing an outer member and an inner member are provided, an engaging piece 17 is provided to one of the plate parts 14c, 15c, a tip end 17a side of the engaging piece 17 is biased from the one plate part 15c to the other plate part 14c, and the engaging face 14d of the other plate part 14c is provided with an engaging recessed part 18 to which the tip end 17a side of the engaging piece 17 can be engaged by the biasing when the tip end 17a side of the engaging piece 17 projects from the one plate part 15c to the other plate part 14c side.
