An alpha-glucoside transporter which can quicken the metabolism of maltose-maltotriose contained in wort, etc. In particular, an alpha-glucoside transporter relating to the inactivation and degradation by glucose, which is scarcely inactivated or degraded by glucose owing to the hybridization of AGT1 with MAL21 and can intake maltotriose at a level comparable to AGT1. Use of, for example, a yeast expressing the alpha-glucoside transporter as described above makes it possible to quicken the fermentation speed of moromi mash containing oligosaccharides such as maltose-maltotriose.
