Described is a grease separating mechanism, which separates edible grease discharged to the drainage from a kitchen, the invention including several components such as a grease trap useful for retaining solids and food residues located in the effluent, thus avoiding grease saturation problems in the discharge lines, which would otherwise obstruct the discharge. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel alternative to the different food restaurants, since the construction and use of the inventive electromechanical device allows oil to be separated, thereby gathering and providing the advantages required by the food market and the food industry.
