PURPOSE: According to an inputting apparatus and a method is the input pattern about the field item for the input a telephone number of user, the telephone number input screen is embodied differently. In that way the input fast and easy about the desired field item is realized. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(110) indicates the telephone number input screen for data input. If input is created in the specific field item of the telephone number input screen, a controller(100) stores the availability about the field item in a memory(106). The controller confirms the field item about each telephone number. The controller establishes filed items used more than a preset frequency used over the set times according to the priority. The controller arranges the field item through the display unit to the telephone number input screen.
