METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CROSS-LINKED CARBON NANOTUBE BALLS AND COMPLEX OF POLYSTYRENE/CROSS-LINKED CARBON NANOTUBE BALLS

PURPOSE: A cross-linked carbon nanotube ball and polystyrene and a method for manufacturing the cross-linked ball complex are provided to use the cross-linked carbon nanotube ball as a reinforcing agent or a filler of a polymer composite by including the carbon nanotube in the inner part and the outer part of the ball. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a cross-linked carbon nanotube comprises the following steps: manufacturing an organic phase of a monomer including water phase in which a stabilizer is dissolved, the carbon nanotube, a cross-linking agent(X), and an initiator(I); manufacturing emulsion by stirring the organic phase of the monomer and the water phase; forming the cross-linked carbon nanotube ball by polymerizing the monomer using a simultaneous suspension polymerization method; and washing the cross-linked carbon nanotube ball.
