A NAVIGATION APPARATUS AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: A navigation device and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to continuously watch TV program in a battery mode by sensing whether a navigation device is powered by a battery or DC power. CONSTITUTION: A speed sensing automatic mode of a TV mode according to a digital broadcasting service is executed(206). The current speed is checked whether the speed is over a predetermined limit speed(210). A power type which is currently supplied to a navigation device is checked whether the power is a DC power or a battery power(212). The TV mode is closed if the power is a DC power(214). The TV mode is not closed if the power is a battery power.
