Subject: lighted serving tray. Constitution: a section made of plastic material (fig.A, 1), a 3 mm-thick base made of plexiglass (fig. A.2), a tray-illuminating mechanism, LEDs (fig.B,2) set in a tress-like arrangement, a rechargeable 12v-lithium battery located under the main part of the tray, a housing for the recharging of the battery, an external ON-OFF switch at the bottom of the tray, a funnel-like switch at the tray surface, a wire uniting the batteries with the switch and the LEDs, a 3mm-thick black-coloured plexiglass (fig.B,6) having holes spaced at 1,5 to 2cm intervals for the placement of the LEDs or a plexiglass with matrix of shapes. Between the outer shell and the black-coloured plexiglass, a matrix can be, optionally, placed for the display of advertising messages. Purpose: serving of meals & drinks, advertising of products & services, aesthetical appearance of serving trays. |
