<p>The method involves identifying traffic signs (16) provided in a driving direction by an identification device e.g. camera, in a vehicle (15) i.e. motor vehicle. A control signal is generated for controlling forward driving during detection of false driving when journey is continued. A verification is made whether the forward driving takes place in a false direction by a satellite position determining and navigation device e.g. global positioning system, after detection of the false driving. Another control signal is generated based on the verification. An independent claim is also included for a device for performing a method for controlling driving against a prescribed driving direction.</p> |
