PURPOSE: A direction displaying method of a navigation device is provided to execute multiple operations by displaying a left-turn or a right-turn of a vehicle using a translucency lighting method. CONSTITUTION: The location information of a vehicle is received(S201). The rotation angle and speed of a vehicle is detected(S203). Direction information to a destination is extracted when destination information is inputted after computing driving information using the rotation angle and speed of a vehicle(S205,S207,S209). The direction information is displayed by dividing a navigation screen intro a predetermined number of screens and a displaying translucency lighting method(S215).
