ILLEGAL COMMAND PREVENTING CIRCUIT AND METHOD FOR MEMORY DEVICE

PURPOSE: An illegal command preventing circuit for a memory device and a method thereof are provided to prevent the malfunction of other circuits due to an illegal command by secluding the illegal command through the illegal command preventing circuit. CONSTITUTION: A first input part(IB11) receives an input command. A second input unit(IB12) receives an input address corresponding to the input command. A illegal command detector(114) receives the input command and an input address. The illegal command detector generates a command preventing signal presenting that a command is an illegal command according to the accordance between active command addresses corresponding to the input address and an active command address. Storage unit temporarily stores the active command address. The storage unit is connected between the input terminal of the second input unit and the input terminal of the illegal command detector.
