PURPOSE: A means for cutting a terminal carrier discharged from press of a wire processing apparatus is provided to improve productivity by automatically cutting a strip-shaped carrier after assembling the end of a wire and terminal. CONSTITUTION: A cutting unit includes a guide tube(60), a case(71), a pressing cylinder(72), a slide member(73), a first and a second flanges(73a,73b), a tension spring(74), a cutting blade(75), and a pair of fixed bars(76a,76b). The guide tube guides a carrier to the outside of a main body through a conducting processing apparatus. The slide member is moved downwardly by the pressure of pressurizing cylinder. The slide member slides up and down through the fixed body(71b). The tension spring restores the descended slid member to an original position. |
