<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the machining of components and to improve the heat exchanging efficiency when a heat absorber wick absorbs a heat exchanging medium and transfers the same to the external. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical casing 1 and the tubular heat absorber wick 2 of a main constitution, have smooth inner peripheral faces to be easily machined, and the wick 2 for absorbing the heat exchanging medium liquid 11 of a central space from the inner peripheral face by capillary force, transferring the same to an outer peripheral face receiving the heating from the circumference, and diffusing the steam 12 of the heat exchanging medium from the outer peripheral face, increases a vaporization area of the heat exchanging medium steam by an outer peripheral groove 21 formed between an outer peripheral ridge 22 formed on its outer peripheral face and the cylindrical casing 1, and a rill formed on a top face of the outer peripheral ridge 22 to promote the diffusion. A communication wick 5 having the plate-shape of a wide surface area, and closely kept into contact with the wick 2 at its side face, is formed over the approximately whole length of the central space part of the wick 2, and absorbs the heat exchanging medium liquid 11 of the central space of the wick 2 by capillary force to promote the transferring of the heat exchanging medium liquid to the wick 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
