DIGITAL ASSISTANT WITH KEYPAD AND KEY INPUT METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A digital assistant with a keypad and a key input method thereof is provided to easily allow a user to input a character and a number and prevent the wrong character from being displayed. CONSTITUTION: A keypad(110) comprises a plurality of character key which has minimum unit of character. A storage(120) stores a number input mapping table and a character input mapping table. The number input mapping table assigns same number to at least two adjacent character keys. When a character is inputted in a number input mode, a key signal is outputted based on the number input mapping table.
