PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification plant for fuel effectively decomposing tar contained in a gasified gas without using water, inhibiting adhesion of the tar on a piping, etc., and continuously operable for a long time. SOLUTION: The gasification plant for fuel comprises a gasification furnace 2 producing the gasification gas and flammable solid content through gasification of charged fuel by forming a fluidized bed 1 by a gas for fluidized reaction, a combustion furnace 5 to which the flammable solid content produced in the gasification furnace 2 is introduced with a fluidizing medium and forming a fluidized bed 4 with a reactive gas for fluidizing to carry out combustion of the flammable solid content, and a medium separator 8 such as a hot-cyclone, etc., separating the fluidized medium from waste gas discharged from the combustion furnace 5 and feeding the separated medium to the gasification furnace 2 through a downcomer 7, wherein the gasification plant is provided with a tar decomposing means 9 decomposing the tar contained in the gasification gas produced in the gasification plant by heating the gas.
