<p>The device has a waste water collector (1) connected with an effluent disposal (4) by a bottom-side closed pipeline (6) that is closed by a control valve (7). A heat exchanger (11) is formed with the pipeline that is wound by a pipe coil (12) for coolant of a heat pump (13). The heat-exchanger is supplied with the waster water from the collector. The control valve is operated for batch-wise heating of the coolant, which flows through the pipe coil, based on waste water temperature in the pipeline.
