Plate separation with magnetic fields

The method involves inducing turbulent flows (11, 12) with the same rotational direction in two upper pressure disks (2) of a pressure disk stack. The pressure disks are pushed-off from each other by the turbulent flows. The pressure disks with an electrically insulated interlayer (3) e.g. polymer layer, are exposed to a magnetic alternating field (10) for producing the turbulent flows. A magnetic body (4) for producing the alternating field and having a perpendicular component are applied on the stack. An independent claim is also included for a device for separating a pressure disk from a pressure disk stack.
