<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative lithographic printing plate precursor which cures with high sensitivity upon infrared laser exposure and has a wide heating latitude in preheat treatment, and which even when preheat-treated at a low temperature, can form an image area having excellent adhesion to the support, excellent strength of the image area and good printing durability, and suppresses the occurrence of a residual film in a non-image area. <P>SOLUTION: The negative lithographic printing plate precursor sequentially has on a support an intermediate layer containing a compound represented by general formula (I) and an image recording layer containing (A) a compound which is decomposed under light or heat to generate an acid, (B) a crosslinking agent, (C) a binder polymer and (D) an infrared absorbent. In the general formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>represents a 1-10C n-valent hydrocarbon group; L<SP>1</SP>and L<SP>2</SP>each independently represent a 1-6C divalent hydrocarbon group; M each independently represents H, a metal atom or ammonium; and n represents an integer of 1-5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
