<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a utility pole box that can be installed, without the worker going round to the backside of a utility pole and without hindering passers-by. <P>SOLUTION: The utility pole box includes a box body 4 having a housing space; a door 5 installed at the side of the box body 4 so that it can be freely opened and closed; and support arms 7 installed on the box body 4 so as to connect the box body 4 and step bolts 6 protruded from a utility pole 3. In the box body 4, there is formed a recess 8 corresponding to the back face of the utility pole 3.
