PURPOSE: A leakage detection apparatus for double insulation pipes is provided to improve the precision of measurement for defects and insulation resistance by using a bare copper wire and a nickel chrome sensor wire at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A leakage detection apparatus for double insulation pipes comprises a sensor wire(31), a return wire(32), and bare copper wires(131,132), and an exterior measuring wire(133). The sensor wire whose coating is stripped at regular intervals is arranged on the upper side in the cross section of a double insulation pipe. The return wire is arranged adjacent to the sensor wire. The bare copper wire is arranged on the lower part in the cross section of a double insulation pipe. The exterior measuring wire is arranged outside the double insulation pipe.
