PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided, which can enhance the display quality by recompensing ripple through removal of the horizontal cross-talk. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display comprises a gate line, a maintenance electrode line, a data line, a thin film transistor, a pixel electrode, a ripple sensing wiring, a withdrawal line, a ripple sensor, and a ripple compensation unit. The gate line is formed on the first insulating substrate and is spread in the cross direction. The maintenance electrode line is formed on the first insulating substrate and is spread in the cross direction. The data line crosses the gate line and maintenance electrode line and is insulated. The pixel electrode is formed in a plurality of pixel regions and is connected to the thin film transistor. The withdrawal line draws out the ripple signal from the ripple sensing wiring. The ripple sensor is connected to the withdrawal line.
