PURPOSE: An ECU(Electronic Control Unit) power control circuit for a MDP(Motor Driven Power Steering) is provided to reduce power consumption without supplying additional power to an ECU. CONSTITUTION: An ECU power control circuit for an MDPS comprises a switch(40), an ECU(20), and a regulator(10). The switch supplies or cuts off power. After an ignition switch is turned off, the ECU turns on/off the switch depending on whether the MDPS is completely performed. The regulator supplies voltage necessary for operating the ECU by converting voltage of power supplied through the switch.
