The vehicle has an edge or external fraction (16B) at a periphery of a glass window (14) that is a rear window, free from a polyethylene terephtalate film (20) such that a peripheral limit (22) of the film is located at a distance from a peripheral side (18) of the window. The distance separating the peripheral side and the peripheral limit is varied such that one set of peripheral portions of the film is in contact with an adhesive band and another set of peripheral portions is free with respect to the band, where the band fixes the window on a body wall (10) of the vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a vehicle.
