PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod which can be produced with comparatively uniform quality, excellent in fishing touch with bamboo rod like mild return to bending. SOLUTION: The fishing rod is provided with a rod tube comprising a fiber reinforced resin and the fiber reinforced resin contains opened bamboo fibers with fiber diameter of 0.01-0.5 mm as the reinforcing fiber.
