PURPOSE: A system with a remaining water removal function for cleaning a food waste container is provided to prevent water stagnated below a flange around an opening from pouring to an operator in a process of standing a container. CONSTITUTION: A system with a remaining water removal function for cleaning a food waste container comprises a conveyer belt(40), a cleaning part(L), and a remaining water removing part. The cleaning part washes the inside and the outside of the container transferred by the conveyer belt. The remaining water removing part removes water stagnated on the rear side of a flange around the opening of the container. The conveyer belt comprises a feed chain(41) in which jamming protrusions(41A) transferring the containers are positioned at fixed intervals. The conveyer belt is formed of a small rail(43B) and a big rail(43A). The big rail is higher than the small rail.
