The device has a holding body (3) arranged on a carrier (2) of a vehicle lateral to a battery (1). The holding body is fixed by using a screw (6), which can be attached in a threaded bush (7) at the carrier. The holding body is movable in a direction of the battery above the screw. The holding body is engaged in a lateral projection of the battery in a force fit manner and is fit laterally planar to the battery. The head of the screw can be rotatably connected with a guiding body (4). The holding body and the guiding body are movable against each other and are connected together.
