PURPOSE: An alternating current light emitting device is provided to prevent short-circuit form generating by connecting light emitting units to adjacent light emitting units through a plurality of conductors. CONSTITUTION: An alternating current light emitting device includes a substrate and a plurality of light emitting units. The light emitting units include a first semiconductor layer(242), a light emitting layer(244) and a second semiconductor layer(246). The alternating current light emitting device further includes at least one first electrode(248) and at least one second electrode(250). The first electrode and the second electrode are connected to adjacent light emitting units through a plurality of conductors. The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged on the first semiconductor layer and the second semiconductor layer.
