The window has a glass panel (6) movably mounted with respect to another glass panel (5) around a horizontal pivot axle (7). The glass panel is located adjacent and below the latter glass panel. The former glass panel is mounted on a door (3) of a vehicle by hinges. The hinges permit pivoting of the former panel towards the bottom around the axle between a closed position and an open position. The former panel is placed in continuity with the latter panel in the closed position and stored along an internal face of the door in the open position.
