PURPOSE: A GPS(Global Positioning System) signal relay system and a method for relaying GPS signal using the same are provided to reduce turnaround time toward the initial proximity operation, by calculating information required for GPS receiver from a GPS signal. CONSTITUTION: A GPS(Global Positioning System) signal repeater(100) comprises a GPS receiver(110), a controller(120), and a wireless communications unit(140). The GPS receiver receives a GPS signal from a plurality of satellites(300). The controller extracts the orbit information of satellite from the GPS signal. The wireless communications unit changes the orbit information into the signal according to the wireless communications standard. The wireless communications unit periodically transmits signal.
