STREPTOMYCES GRISEUS MUTANTS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRONASE WITH HIGH CONTENT TRYPSIN BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A Streptomyces griseus mutant is provided to massively produce pronase with high content of trypsin under optimal culture condition. CONSTITUTION: A Streptomyces griseus mutan which produces pronase with high content of trypsin is prepared by mutating Streptomyces griseus parent strain by NTG(N-methyl-N'-nitro- N-nitrsoguanidine) or UV ray. The Streptomyces griseus parent strain is griseus KCTC 1018BP. The Streptomyces griseus mutant strain is griseus Ace03 KCTC 11362BP. The mutant strain is cultured in a medium containing 0.05-4 weight parts of inoculation amount of spawn at 24-35°C for 24 to 48 hours.
