METHOD OF PERFORMING BANDWIDTH REQUEST PROCESS

PURPOSE: A method of performing bandwidth request process is provided to offer a differentiated service according to a terminal priority by establishing a resource allocation waiting time according to the priority of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A BS(Base Station) broadcasts a resource allocation waiting time through a SFH(Super Frame Header)(S610). An MS(Mobile Station) transmits a first bandwidth request indicator to a base station(S640). The terminal establishes timer as 40ms. The terminal transmits a second bandwidth indicator of requesting in a base station(S650). The terminal establishes timer as 40ms. If the terminal receives an upward link resource within 40ms from the base station, the terminal transmits the data(S660, S670).
