PURPOSE: A system for identifying a vehicle is provided to improve traffic condition by obtaining information like a traffic law violation existence and a stolen vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A system for identifying a vehicle includes a transmitting device(11), a receiving device(12), a police computer server(14), and a display device(13). The transmitting device is attached to a vehicle and transmits the identification information of a vehicle. The receiving device receives the identification information of a vehicle by a wireless or a cable communications. The police computer server is connected to the receiving device and communicates to bidirectional. The display device displays information about a vehicle corresponding to the ID information by receiving from the police computer server.
