REFERENCE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION APPARATUS FOR MULTIPLE TRANSMIT ANTENNAS FOR OFDM OR OFDMA SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A device for transmitting a reference signal about a multiple transmission antenna in an OFDM or OFDMA system is provided to improve a data transmission rate by transmitting four data streams or more in a base station at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A base station includes a reference signal generator(810), a wireless resource allocator(820), and a transmitter(850). The reference signal generator generates a second reference signal based on a first reference signal. The wireless resource allocator allocates the same wireless resource to the first and second reference signals. The transmitter transmits the first and second reference signals to the terminal using the wireless resource. The reference signal generator generates the second reference signal by changing the phase of the first reference signal.
