摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material containing an effective active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery negative electrode having high initial charging/discharging efficiency and improved cycle characteristics while maintaining the high battery capacity and low volume expansion coefficient of silicon oxide, and to provide the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery using the negative electrode material. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery negative electrode material uses an Si-O-Al composite as an active material, which has silicon, silicon oxide and aluminum oxide and of which the silicon has 28.3&deg; signal intensity 1-9 times near 21&deg; signal intensity in a powder X-ray diffraction spectrum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
