<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tester for a solar cell having a simple structure, which emits light of EL by passing forward current to the solar cell and shortens the test time of a defect test in a state where the resolution of a photographed image is excellent. <P>SOLUTION: The tester for the solar cell includes: a dark chamber 110 having an opening 112 on the upper surface 111; a supporting means arranged on an upper surface of the dark chamber 110 and holding the solar cell to be a measuring object 200 on the opening 112; cameras 121, 122, 123 arranged in the inside of the dark chamber 110 so as to photograph the measuring object 200; and a moving means for moving the cameras inside the dark chamber.
