<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photography system, a reflecting device, a photography device, and a photography method for taking self photo with a shooting distance secured, while protecting privacy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The photography system 100 includes: a reflecting device 200 having a convex mirror; and a photography device 300 which has an imaging part for capturing images, a determination part for determining whether or not a reflecting surface of the convex mirror is positioned within an image pickup range of the imaging part, and a recording part for recording an image captured by the imaging part when the reflecting surface of the convex mirror is within the range of imaging.
