摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of data signal lines without significant increase in the number of scanning signal lines. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a first pixel electrode E(i, j, g) disposed in conformation to each intersection between a scanning signal line G(j) and a data signal line S(i); a second pixel electrode E(i, j, r) to which a gradation signal supplied to the data signal line S(i) is applied through the first pixel electrode E(i, j, g); a third pixel electrode E(i, j, b) to which the gradation signal supplied to the data signal line S(i) is applied through the first pixel electrode E(i, j, g) and the second pixel electrode E(i, j, r); a first transistor T(i, j, g) which switches conduction/non-conduction between the data signal line S(i) and the first pixel electrode E(i, j, g); a second transistor T(i, j, r) which switches conduction/non-conduction between the first pixel electrode E(i, j, g) and the second pixel electrode E(i, j, r); and a third transistor T(i, j, b) which switches conduction/non-conduction between the second pixel electrode E(i, j, r) and the third pixel electrode E(i, j, b). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
