PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitting device capable of transmitting power in a non-contact state, and capable of improving a freedom degree of the arrangement configuration of a driving side rotating body and a driven side rotating body. SOLUTION: An intermediate rotating body 12 is arranged with respect to the driving side rotating body 11 and the driven side rotating body 13 through a gap. The driving side rotating body 11 and the driven side rotating body 13 are provided with a plurality of magnets (16, 21) arranged so that different poles are alternately aligned. A non-magnetic conductor 18 is disposed on the intermediate rotating body 12. The driving side rotating body 11 is rotated, and thereby, the driven side rotating body 13 is driven through rotation of the intermediate rotating body 12 by action of eddy current generated in the non-magnetic conductor 18.
