PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine capable of notifying of winning of a specific winning symbol combination by a lottery, by a performance rotation of rotary reels and preventing the elongation of a game waiting time. SOLUTION: A slot machine includes: an acceleration rotation control means controlling respective rotary reels to start rotating triggered by the operation of a start switch and to accelerate to a predetermined rotation speed; and a performance rotation control means controlling the respective rotary reels to start rotating triggered by the operation of the start switch and to align specific symbols; and executes either control of the acceleration rotation control means and the performance rotation control means. In a case where an index sensor detects an index during the execution of the control of the performance rotation control means, when the counting number of the pulse counter reaches the upper limit before detecting the index again, the slot machine stops the control of the performance rotation control means and starts the control of the acceleration rotation control means.
