PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To delete information of a route that has lost meaning, when a user cannot start moving at exactly the time input, searching for a route, and to display information of meaningful routes, in real time. SOLUTION: A navigation system 10 includes: a route search server 30, having a route searching means 33 for referring to route searching network data for searching a candidate route, containing an area in which a communication means is used based on a route search request containing specified time conditions, a departure place and a destination; and a terminal device 20, having a display means 25 for displaying the candidate route. The navigation system 10 includes a route-cancellation time setting means 35 for setting time when the candidate route expires as a route-cancellation time for the candidate route searched by the searching means 33. The terminal device 20 recognizes the cancellation time of the candidate route, based on the current time when displaying the candidate route on the display means 25, and displays with the canceled candidate route deleted.
