PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle grip device having a simplified device structure and a reduced size, and enabling smooth return operation of a throttle grip. SOLUTION: This throttle grip device includes: a throttle pipe 1 fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the throttle grip G attached to the end of the handlebar H of a vehicle and rotatable together with the throttle grip G; an angle sensor 10 detecting the rotational angle of the throttle pipe 1; a case 2 fixed to the base end of the throttle pipe 1 in the handlebar H while storing the angle sensor 10; and a return spring 4 always pressing the throttle pipe 1 to a returning side. The engine of the vehicle is controlled based on the rotational angle of the throttle pipe 1 detected by the angle sensor 10.
