PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an electric motor by reducing the number of components and assembling works. SOLUTION: A drive gear 22 is fixed on the tip of an output shaft 42, and a pair of drive cables 17a, 17b are mated to the drive gear 22. A pair of cable guides 81, 82 opposite to the drive gear 22 are provided on the gear case 36, a guide plate 83 with a pair of guide walls 84a, 84b each attached to the cable guides 81, 82 are attached, and the drive cables 17a, 17b are each disposed between the guide walls 84a, 84b and the drive gear 22. A pair of linking bridges 85a, 85b for linking the guide walls 84a, 84b respectively are provided on the guide plate 83, the linking bridges 85a, 85b are formed so as to be elastically deformable in an axial direction of the output shaft 42 and are disposed between the gear case 36 and the drive gear 22 and the drive gear 22 is urged in the axial direction by the elastic force.
